A unique mother–baby dance class that weaves together therapeutic dance movement, somatic awareness and African dance choreography to support wellbeing, led by Meagan Camara & Aboubacar Camara

    No dance experience is needed. This is a trauma informed, body inclusive space. Babies can be worn in a sling or carrier or simply lie close by or be in a bouncer — all ways of participating are welcome.

    Suitable for prior to baby walking.

Afro Flow

Therapeutic Movement with Afro Style dance.

Afro Flow is designed to support emotional, cognitive, physical, and social wellbeing through the integration of therapeutic movement practices and Afro-style movement.

Offering a creative, expressive, and enriching experience that is both accessible and restorative, led by Meagan Camara

Ideal for those who may be seeking:

  • A body-based approach to stress or emotional regulation

  • Improve fitness and cognition

  • Reconnecting with movement after illness, injury, or burnout

    Casual Class Option

Guinea Ballet Style

West African dance class

High-energy Guinea Ballet style dance with live drumming

Join us for a powerful, high-energy Guinea Ballet style West African dance class, led by master dancer Aboubacar Camara accompanied by live drumming led by Guinean master drummer Mohamed Camara

This class is open level, for dancers who are ready to deepen their connection to traditional rhythms, refine technique, and move with intensity, presence, and feeling.

Expect:
- Traditional Guinean dance warm up and choreography, challenging & fun
- Live djembe & dundun rhythms that move your spirit
- A supportive, vibrant space for growth

A chance to train, sweat, connect, and be inspired by Guinean rhythm in its beautiful traditional form.

Renowned for his profound knowledge of traditional dance, rhythms & song, with a rich family legacy in dance, Aboubacar Camara is dedicated to preserving and sharing his culture through a pedagogical approach that blends discipline, joy and deep cultural understanding.

For many years Aboubacar has held the position of lead dancer, teacher, choreographer and assistant artistic director of Merveille de Guinée the first private ballet company of Guinea.
