Meagan is a clinical psychotherapist specialised in Dance Movement Therapy & Play-based psychotherapy. Meagan values the healing power of dance, movement and play to support a healthy development of the whole self.
Meagan’s therapeutic framework draws on interpersonal neurobiology, attachment-based theory, and synergetic play therapy, creating a bridge between embodied experience and relational healing. She works through a somatic lens that considers how birth imprints and early experiences shape emotional regulation and patterns of relating
Meagan has a holistic understanding of the mind body connection, somatics, movement processes and dance as an ancient healing art form, and continues to study traditional dance, in particular West African dance and rhythms which enrich her therapy process.
Meagan’s experience includes children’s early intervention, adult mental health, parent & infant mental health, birth trauma, selective mutism, ASD, PTSD, complex trauma, neurological conditions and adults affected by domestic violence and childhood trauma.
The premise of the mind body unity is that change and growth in one supports change and growth in the other.
Offering a warm approach and safely held space, Meagan supports her clients to foster an embodied sense of emotional regulation, cognition, self-expression, communication and harmonious ways of being in relationship.
Meagan holds a Master’s degree in Dance Movement Therapy, a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and a Postgraduate Certificate in Play Therapy. She is a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia
Meagan provides individual & group therapy, therapeutic incursions, teaches and performs dance & supports performances for schools, community and business events

Aboubacar Camara is a Master Dancer and Choreographer, as well as a highly skilled acrobat and musician, from the Forest Region of Guinea, West Africa.
Internationally recognised for his profound knowledge of Guinean ballet, traditional dance, rhythms and song, he is fluent in the languages, musical traditions and dances of Guinea’s diverse regions, bringing exceptional cultural depth and authority to both performance and teaching.
With a rich family lineage in dance, Aboubacar is dedicated to preserving and sharing the traditions of his heritage through a pedagogical approach that blends discipline, joy and deep cultural understanding.
For many years he has served as lead dancer, teacher, choreographer and assistant artistic director of Merveille de Guinée, Guinea’s first private ballet company, contributing to the transmission and evolution of Guinean cultural performance both nationally and internationally.With additional experience teaching dance and cultural history at the university level in Guinea, he brings a depth of cultural knowledge and authenticity to his work.
Beyond choreography, Aboubacar’s work reflects the transmission of a living, breathing culture.Aboubacar teaches classes and workshops, and provides performances and incursions for schools, community and business events
