Experience the vibrant heartbeat of West Africa in this Dance Workshop led by Guinean Master Aboubacar Camara.
This 90 minute workshop invites participants to connect with rhythmic expression, grounded movement and the joyful energy of Guinean music and dance.
World renowned for his profound knowledge of traditional dance and rhythms, Aboubacar has a rich family legacy in dance, and has spent many years as lead dancer, assistant artistic director, choreographer, and teacher of Guinea’s first private ballet company Merveille de Guinée,
Aboubacar is passionate about preserving and sharing his culture through a pedagogical approach that blends discipline, joy and deep cultural understanding.
Open to all levels this is a unique and uplifting opportunity to learn from a Guinean Master of dance, and to move and feel the power of rhythm in community.
