Casual Drum Class. (Within a 4 week series beginning August 9th)
Connect through the rich traditions of West African drumming in a drum class led by a Guinean Master Drummer Mohamed Camara:
SUNDAY 3.15pm-4.15pm

This 60-minute Drum class invites participants to connect with the rich rhythms and traditions of West African drumming. Through hands-on instruction, you'll explore foundational techniques, dynamic rhythms, ensemble playing, and the powerful energy of Guinean music. Whether you're new to drumming or have previous experience, this engaging session offers a joyful and immersive experience in the musical heritage of Guinea.

Drum class participants are also invited to arrive earlier, and warm up with some simple drum accompaniments guided by Mohamed at our dance class, which starts 2pm-3.15pm at The Goods Shed. The more drums the better!
